Just returned from a tranquil stay at Bed And Breakfast Country Cottage after a tiring ferry trip. The modern room with a spotless bathroom and complimentary toiletries was a delightful retreat. Federico and Sara, the gracious hosts, made us feel incredibly welcome, providing helpful tips in charming broken English.Nestled amidst olive trees, the property exuded peace, offering secure parking and a serene ambiance. The morning stroll along the country road, with fireflies dancing around, was pure magic. Federico's warm hospitality shone through, ensuring a comfortable stay for our group, including excellent recommendations for local dining.Although slightly farther from Civitavecchia than expected, the peaceful ambiance and immaculate rooms made up for the distance. Breakfast served in-room was a lovely touch, and the option to play tennis added a fun element to our stay. This charming B&B is a definite go-to when renting a car for a pre-cruise retreat.
